Not every link here is an affiliate link. Many point to sources, manufacturers or documentation, and we earn nothing from those. Where a guide names a brand or model, it is there to explain a feature or a trade-off, not because anyone paid for the mention.
A commission never buys a recommendation. Where a cheaper option, or buying nothing at all, is the right answer, that is what you will read here.
The rule that doesn't change
Recommendations are not for sale.
A commission is not a reason to recommend something, and no commercial relationship — present or future — buys a verdict, a ranking, a place in a guide, or the removal of a criticism.
The test a product has to pass on Cycler Guide is the same one set out in the Editorial Policy:
- Why does it earn the recommendation?
- Who is it actually for?
- When should you skip it?
A product that can't answer those questions doesn't get recommended, whatever it might pay. A more expensive product does not get recommended because it's more expensive. And if the honest answer to a buying question is "keep what you've got" or "the cheap one is fine", that's the answer you should get.
If a commercial relationship ever exists that could reasonably affect how you read a recommendation, it belongs on the page, in plain sight.
Prices and availability
Cycler Guide does not sell anything. It doesn't set prices, hold stock, ship orders or handle warranties — any purchase is between you and the retailer.
